After Jasprit Bumrah's back injury has made his inclusion in the T20 World Cup 2022 doubtful, the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) reportedly has formulated its reserved squad for the marquee event. India's reserved panel currently has Mohammad Shami, Shreyas Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi, and Deepak Chahar. But, they have added Umran Malik and Mohammad Siraj.
The additions of two new players to the current pool indicate that Bumrah is not likely to be part of the World Cup 2022, although he is not yet officially ruled out. While making a statement in regard, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said the decision would be revealed in two-three days.
The statement, as reported by Xtra time, reads,
"Bumrah is not out of the World Cup yet. The final decision will be taken in two to three days.”
Recently, the pacer has been expelled from the ongoing India vs South Africa series, being replaced by Siraj. Also, Siraj, the Hyderabad-born, is reportedly named in the reserved players, which simply might mean Bumrah's elimination from World Cup.
As confirmed by reliable sources, Siraj and Umran have been added to India's reserved players' list for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. Here is the tweet for reference,

Rohit Sharma and co will begin their all-important contest journey against the arch-rivals Pakistan on October 24 at the iconic MCG. Missing on Bumrah might serve to them as a big blow. But they have a balanced squad that can do wonders in the Australian realm despite famous failures in Asia Cup 2022 without some key players.
