Bumrah not yet ruled out of World Cup, confirms BCCI

The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is revolving around the corner, and worrisome days for team India begins with the severity of Jasprit Bumrah's injury. The bowler was ruled out from Asia Cup 2022 due to a back injury, and the reports revolving narrate the toe-crushed is expelled from World Cup 2022 squad either. 

However, as quoted by Xtra Time, the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has turned down the rumours revolving for two days. President Sourav Ganguly says the decision regarding bowler's ruling out is due to take clarifying that he has not been ruled out yet.

“Bumrah is not out of the World Cup yet. The final decision will be taken in two to three days.”

He has been replaced by Mohammad Siraj in the ongoing India vs South Africa series, which the home siders lead by 1-0. Bumrah is currently being examined by the medical team at National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore. And if or not he will be able to proceed in the World Cup will be confirmed in a short course.
