Tabraiz Shamsi, the left-arm unorthodox spinner, is relishing the opportunity to play for Karachi Kings in the ongoing eighth season of HBL PSL 8. Shamsi, South Africa's frontline spinner, is motivated to play his part whenever the team needs him and is looking forward to contributing to the team's success in the upcoming games.
Although Karachi Kings preferred the veteran spinner Imran Tahir ahead of Shamsi in the season's first four games, the left-arm spinner remains positive about his role in the team. Shamsi believes that all the players in the squad are capable of winning games for the team and is happy to get his opportunity to try and do that for the team.
In an exclusive interview with Cricket Pakistan, Shamsi expressed his experience of touring Pakistan with the South African team in 2021. He described it as a really nice experience and said that he was looking forward to playing in more games, whether he plays or not.
Shamsi received the player of the match award in his first PSL game against Multan Sultans, where he picked up four wickets in two games he has played this season. He expressed his happiness about the award and his goal to contribute to his team's success whenever he plays.
