The eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2023) is ready and steady to begin from February 19th across four venues in the country and will close up on March 9th of the upcoming year. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been taking all measures to make it another successful version in Pakistan.
One of the developments after announcing the retention list and pick order for the player draft to finalize the six teams' squad is to announce local and foreign cricketers in various categories. Earlier, the PSL official forums named lists of local and foreign players in the Gold Category, local players in the Emerging Category, and local and foreign players in the Silver Category.
Recently, it has named 79 international cricketers in the Diamond Category for the PSL 8 Draft. It includes big names like Imran Tahir, Saqib Mehmood, Reeza Hendricks, Thisara Parera, Shai Hope, Kusal Parera, Craig Overton, Angelo Matthews, and others.

It is pertinent to mention here that PSL 8 Draft is all set to take place on December 15th, two days from now on. In the draft, current champions Lahore Qalandars will have the first pick.
