Furious BCCI sacks its selection panel

The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken a furious decision to sack its selection panel after India's dramatic exit from the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Especially after their horrendous performances on the crucial stage, the semifinal against England, the team and the board have been facing heavy lashes from the fanatics and experts.

Surprisingly, the team, with the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravichandran Ashwin, and others, failed to plug a single wicket against Jos Buttler's men in the semifinal. Since the team is in hot water after a terrible loss, many ex-Indian cricketers have suggested formulating the squad for the shortest format.

It has been heard that BCCI is taking measures to develop a new T20I team operating under the captaincy of Pandya. It has also been reported that the board will soon sack some senior cricketers from the short format. Players later, the first thing to bring changes in the format the board has got rid of is the selection panel.

In a statement, the board said that they are looking to fill five big positions in the selection committee. The statement further reads,

"The Board of Control for Cricket in India invites applications for the position of national selectors (senior men),"
