Is Ravindra Jadeja parting ways with CSK?

There have been a lot of speculations going on regarding all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) parting ways with each other. The fallout has been going on for a long from now on. However, the IPL franchise has turned down all the assumptions calling them baseless stories.

The fans determined unstable relations between the two parties after Jadeja unfollowed CSK on Twitter. He was made CSK captain for IPL 2022; however, the captaincy was once again handed over to MS Dhoni after the yellow men's poor showcases throughout the tournament.

Many reliable sources also confirmed Dhoni's leadership in IPL 2023, which further strengthen fans' and experts' premises. However, the recently reported statements have cleared the picture better. According to the franchise, it is in no mood to trade the 'world's best all-rounder' with any other team for the forthcoming IPLs.

Apart from Jadeja, speculations regarding trading off Shubman Gill have been on the card, either. The cryptic tweet by the CSK almost confirmed the news until the most recent statements have cleared that two are going nowhere. The tweet reads as if CSK is bidding farewell to Gill on his services.

"It's been a journey to remember. We wish you all the best for your next endeavour, @ShubmanGill!".

A report by the site hints,

“Recent reports even suggested a trade between CSK and Gujarat Titans for Jadeja and Shubman Gill. Both the franchises have denied the trade-off categorically to Cricbuzz,”

"There have, however, been requests for trade for Jadeja from a couple of other teams, Delhi Capitals being one of them. But the CSK management has told Cricbuzz that they have no plans to part with the all-rounder, arguably one of the best in the world."

“Besides Jadeja, Cricbuzz understands that Gujarat Titans have got requests for trade for Rahul Tewatia and R Sai Kishore but the IPL champions have declined the offers. The transfer/trade window will remain open till one week before the auction and will re-open after it,”
