The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is all set to begin from Group Stage in Australia on October 16th, whereas the main round, Super 12, will kick start on October 22nd.
A total of 30 matches will be played in the Super 12 round, followed by two semi-finals and a final, whereas Group Stage will compose of 12 games. The entire event will conclude with 45 T20s to be played at seven different venues.
It must be noted that Group Stage is divided among Group A and B, with four teams in each. By the end of the first round, the top two teams of each group will be placed in the four vacant spaces of Super 12.
Currently, the Super 12 is divided into Groups 1 and 2, with four teams in each; however, after the conclusion of Group Stage, the Super 12 will feature six teams in both of its groups.
