Umar Gul bashes KPL 2 for family-based selection

The second edition of the Kashmir Premier League (KPL 2022) is all set to run in Muzaffarabad from August 13th to 26th. Everyone in the cricket-loving nation is excited to witness the Kashmir-based tournament getting successful and hyped running in its 2nd year.

As the process of finalizing things goes on, the player selection for the seven-team T20 league is also on the card. Among several new faces introduced to the league, we have seen the teams' officials, including their relatives, which is gathering enormous bashing for them.

Abdul Razzaq, the head coach of Mirpur Royals, has roped in his son Ali Razzaq, whereas Saeed Azad, the coach of Kotli Lions, has included his nephews, Hanif Azad and Imran Shah.

He took it to Twitter to hilariously highlight the issue and penned out his question if it is Family Premier League or Kashmir Premier League. The tweet reads,

Its totally fine to give chance to deserving players but making it a Family Premier league instead of Kashmir Premier league is actually interesting
