Hasnain gets big opportunity instantly after his bowling action was found legal

In the recent developments of Pakistan Cricket, young quick bowler Mohammad Hasnain's bowling action was termed 'legal' by Cricket Australia's individual experts. The bowler was tested at ICC accredited centre in Lahore after his bowling action was found illegal during the recent edition of the Big Bash League.

As soon as he has been cleared to bowl again in all forms of cricket, Oval Invincibles, one of the franchises of The Hundred has signed him for the upcoming second edition of the tournament. According to the statements released by the PCB, Hasnain can now bowl in all cricket including franchise, domestic, and international cricket.

The incident happened during his team, Sydney Thunder's game versus the Adelaide Strikers when the umpire suspected his bowling style and reported it immediately. The PCB also hired specialists to modify Hasnain's bowling action, and eventually, it was rectified in a shorter course.

Hasnain expressed his joy over getting an instant opportunity after clearing the bowling action. He stated,

“I’m overjoyed. The Hundred looked like great fun last year and I can’t wait to get involved. The opportunity to play alongside stars like Sunil Narine, Jason Roy and the Curran brothers is hugely exciting,”
