PCB to make notable changes in Central Contracts

The existing central contracts of Pakistani cricketers will expire on June 30th and the talks for updated contracts are already on the board. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started discussions in regard as major changes are expected in the revised list to be issued on July 1st.

The reliable reports have speculated the details of the central contracts for 2021-22 will be shared after Eid-ul-Fitr. It means one cannot expect a thorough conversation before two weeks. The cricketers will be offered new central contracts in or after July which will be distributed among categories A, B, and C.

According to sources, many top performers of the recent season, and the youngsters can be promoted. There are chances that multiple new faces will be added to the list of renewed central contracts.

Promotion and addition apart, a few cricketers are likely to be demoted on behalf of their absence or poor performances over the last few months.
