A mediocre start leaves Karachi Kings' fans disappointed

The seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 7) has started finally with all anticipation of the fans coming to an end. But, Karachi Kings' fans are left disappointed after seeing a horrendous showcase from Babar Azam and co versus Mohammad Rizwan's Multan Sultans.

Sultans won the toss and opted to field on the National Stadium's pitch. The decision favoured the title defenders in each aspect since they led the batting and bowling grounds.

Kings abruptly failed in the batting scoring 124 on 120 balls losing early wickets. The target looked easy as pie for Sultans to chase, however, the Kings bowler tried to be as economical as they could be failing at the last stage. Sultans winded up the match in their favour in 18.2 overs finishing it off with style.

It must be noted that Azam is induced to lead a PSL side for the first time in the 7-year history of the marquee event. Whereas, Rizwan did it earlier during PSL 6 for the first time and clutched the maiden trophy for Sultans.

Let's have a look at the reactions of the fans on Kings' failure:
