England's former cricketer and now the commentator, says that India vs Pakistan is the biggest game. He denies the claims terming the Ashes between Australia and England as the biggest game.
Recently, it has been announced that India and Pakistan will lock horns with each other on 23rd October in T20 World Cup 2022. Both the teams have once again been placed in the same group by the ICC.
The last time the arch-rivals faced each other, in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, the men in green overpowered the men in blue entirely handing over a 10-wicket defeat to them. Before the T20 WC 21, Pakistan never defeated India in any World Cup; ODI or T20. It although happened for the first time but the victory was bigger than the rest of all.
As far as the Ashes is considered, Australia defeated England by 4-0 not letting Joe Root and men win a single game in a five-match series. The three lions' failure has even put queries for Root's red-ball captaincy.
Vaughan is expecting Rohit Sharma to take charge of his duties after Kohli became the first skipper to lose a World Cup match versus Pakistan. Ind vs Pak is now one of the most anticipated games on social media.
He added,
"I think, we being England and Australia ex-players, we all kind of think of the Ashes as the biggest game in world cricket, it's not! India versus Pakistan is the biggest game"
Looking forward to Rohit Sharma being the captain, probably the first time he’s going to be under real pressure. It’s going to be an epic event,”
