Usman Khawaja, the Pakistan-born Australian cricketer is set to represent his team in the fourth Test of the Ashes 2021-22 as Travis Head will miss out.
Khawaja played his last red-ball encounter during ICC World Test Championship in 2019 versus England at the Leeds but did not enjoy the great stats that day.
Notably, Sydney Test is good to go after all members of the Australian squad are tested COVID-19 negative. Only Head will be excluding who is put in isolation in Melbourne. It is yet to be said if he will return for the final Test or Khawaja will render the services.
Usman believes he will well fit into Head's shoes and score a hundred for the team in the SCG Test.
Usman Khawaja, who has replaced Travis Head in Australia’s squad for the fourth #Ashes Test is ready to return to international cricket after a gap of more than two years.

It is pertinent to mention that Australia already have won the series by 3-0 with two more encounters left. England, putting a horror showcase so far in all three tests, are striving to win at least the last two. Pat Cummins, the newly appointed red-ball skipper, is enjoying great start to his leadership career.
