Top Pakistani cricketers want foreign coaches - Ramiz Raja

Ramiz Raja, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has revealed that the top players of the team, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan want foreign coaches for their assistance.

Recently, PCB opened vacancies for multiple coaching spots in the team including the power-hitting coach, bowling coach, batting coach, fielding coach, and high-performance coach. There have been several applications including that of the locals but the board is likely to hire the foreigners for the mentioned roles.

Ramiz made the big announcement during the New year Greeting video and is of the same idea as Azam and Rizwan.

Notably, not only the team's top two batters but Saqlian Mushtaq, the trend-setter of doosra and the current head coach of high-performance center, is of the same point of view.

The PCB Chairman added,

“I talked to Babar, Saqlain, Rizwan and they opined to integrate foreign coaches in the national team’s dressing room. But my way of thinking is quite open on this as I think that locals should be involved on away tours. You need regular coaches only to create the best dressing room environment,”
