Top performers of Quaid e Azam trophy 2022

The Quaid e Azam trophy 2021-22 ended on Wednesday and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa successfully retained the trophy overpowering Northern in the final.

Most runs:

Northern's Mohammad Huraira has been an inspiration for many to watch. The young lad appealed the lookouts with his majestic batting throughout the tournament and gathered 986 runs in 18 innings. He has averaged 58.00 at an average of 68.56. The 986-long run journey counts three hundredths and five fifties. 

Most wickets:

The left-arm spinner of Southern Punjab, Ali Usman bagged bowler of the tournament award for his best bowling showcases. He clutched 43 wickets in 13 innings at an economy of 3.11 averaging 27.93. His best figures of the tournament count his best bowling in an inning of 5/88 and best bowling in a match of 10/190 (versus KPK). 

Highest score by an individual:

Huraira not only is the most-run scorer of the Quaid e Azam Trophy 2021-22 but also is the highest score getter. He became the second-youngest triple centurion hitting 311 versus Balochistan in Pakistan after Javed Miandad. 

Most dismissals as a wicketkeeper:

Rohail Nazir of Northern has set the record of most dismissals as a wicketkeeper in Quaid e Azam trophy 2021-22. His stats include 21 catches taken and 10 times stumping made which make 31 dismissals in 18 innings. 

Most catches:

Sahibzada Farhan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been a great and active fielder throughout the contest. He has taken 16 catches in 21 innings.

Most sixes:

It seems like all the top records have been grasped by the players of the finalists. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Asif Afridi owns the record for hitting the most number of sixes, 16, in 12 innings. He is the joint-most sixes hitter with Southern Punjab's Mohammad Imran who also has slammed 16 sixes in 12 innings.
