Pakistan U19 Cricket Team has beaten India U19 Cricket Team in the ongoing U19 Asia Cup. The 5th match of the event took place at ICC Academy 2nd Ground in Dubai.
Qasim Akram and the men won the toss and elected to chase. The men in green sustained a target of 241 and the lookouts witnessed the last-ball thriller. India scored 240 losing eight wickets with the top assistance of Harnoor Singh adding 46 off 59, Aradhya Yadav slamming 50 off 83, and some average contributions from Raja Bawa, Kaushal Tambe, and Rajvardhan Hangargekar.
Pakistan's Zeeshan Zameer's five-wicket haul played a crucial role in the men in green's victory. Apart from him, Awais Ali clasped two wickets, whereas, Maaz Sadaqat and the captain clutched one apiece.
The victory could not have been possible but Ahmed Khan slammed a much-needed four off the last ball with two required to win. Mohammad Shahzad's 81 off 105 balls can not be neglected either.
From India's end, Bawa was the top wicket-taker picking four of the green shirts.
